Building an online estate planning platform from scratch
FastWill is a US legal-tech platform that helps people create personalized estate planning documents online through a clear, guided process.
My role
From 2023 to 2025, I worked across the full application stack as part of a two-developer team building the original product from scratch.

- Developing guided workflows for personalized estate planning documents
- Supporting Living Trusts, Last Wills and Powers of Attorney
- Implementing automated legal document generation
- Integrating Stripe one-time payments and subscriptions
- Building packages, discount codes and purchase flows
- Developing a partner portal with role-based access for Users, Advisors and Admins
- Delivering frontend, UX and deployment improvements
Results
The work resulted in a functioning commercial platform that allowed customers to prepare and purchase personalized estate planning documents online.
